Boat, personal watercraft, canoes, kayaks and paddle boats may be launched from this property. Larger boats may have difficulty depending on lake levels and and your vehicle. We allow vessels to be parked on the beach or out in front of the property. We also allow small campfires. Please do not burn any type metal, aluminum or glass. This property does not currently offer electricity, fresh running water, restroom facilities or sewer disposal locations. The use of generators are allowed. The Lake Limestone Campground and Marina is a short drive away. They offer public restroom amenities, small restaurant and have a bathhouse. They also sell bait and tackle supplies. Their fees for usage apply. They are not affiliated with this property. Grays bait is another local business that offers bait and tackle supplies. They are not affiliated with this property. Because this lot is located in a lakeside community most residents use some sort of golf cart, UTV or ATV for transportation. This is welcomed but please check local and Texas state law before operating the vehicles on county roadways. Jewett, Texas is the closest town that offers several small restaurants, fuel, grocery store, dollar store, and liquor stores. This is approximately a 20 minute drive from the property. Folks in these parts are downright friendly and love to stop by. If you wish to have a more private experience simply shut and latch the entrance gate. The property owner and caretaker stop by once in a while to do a little fishing and to maintain this great spot of dirt. Please keep this in mind. Cabin in the Woods with hot tub - private cabin nestled in the middle of 3 very wooded acres. Small but beautiful lake view from front porch. Nature at its finest with deer, squirrels, all kinds of birds and maybe a few other species. Can you imagine seeing these animals with a glass of wine while sitting in the hot tub. 384 sq.ft. with a loft. Beds can sleep 3 comfortably, and up to 5 if you don't mind doubling up. There is an extra single in the low roof part of the loft that I don't even count. All of the kitchen amenities needed to cook meals (no stove) but a toaster counter top oven, microwave, electric burner and refrigerator. If you prefer you can even cook on a nice Fire-pit out in front. Propane BBQ grill as well. Please note; there are neighboring properties but they are mostly hidden by heavy brush and trees on the back side of the cabin. Our little cabin has been a family jewel since 1983! Four generations have enjoyed the property over the years and now our grandchildren love it so much, they never want to leave! Since we've always had such wonderful family time here, we decided to share it with others when we aren't using it ourselves! We are 2 - 2 1/2 hours from Houston, Dallas, & Austin so we are a great place to meet in the middle for a lot of Texas families! This fabulous little cabin has 2 bedrooms with 2 custom designed bunk beds (queen on bottom & twin on top) in each room which sleep a total of 12 people. It has 2 full baths with both a shower and a tub, a large open kitchen completely stocked with everything you need, a living area with 3 comfy couches plus a TV/Stereo/DVD Player/Movie Library, and a dining table that seats 8 with additional seating at the island and game table for a total of 14. While the inside is spectacular, we prefer spending the majority of our time on the large tree shaded outside deck overlooking the lake. Sunsets are majestic from this location and at night, the patio lights throughout the property add a mystical ambiance to the evening. If you prefer sitting by a fire, we've got a large fire pit and a steady woodpile waiting to host the day's fishing tales, ghost stories, or even our favorite, popcorn and s'mores! During the day, guests can enjoy easy access to the water, sunbathing via our boat dock, or kayaking in the calm waters of our cove. The property is lined with trees on both sides, so you will feel as though you are the only people who know about this secret paradise. Having this much private space is a rare find at the lake!!!! Lake Limestone is famous for its great fishing, and a lot of it can be found a few yards in front of the dock! Fish species include large mouth bass, striped bass, crappie, brim, and catfish. We have been enjoying The Lake House on Lake Limestone since we built it in 2004. We moved here full time when my husband retired in 2014. We love the house so much; we have decided to share it with you. We do still live on the property and the dock is shared with the owners. The Lake House is 1800 sq. ft. with four bedrooms that sleep a total of 12 people. It has two baths, a kitchen and a living area. Lake Limestone is centrally located with easy access to Houston, Dallas, and Austin. All are about 2 to 2 1/2 hours away. The lake is famous for its fishing, hosting many fishing tournaments a year. The house is perfect for family reunions, weekend getaways, or getting together with friends. With nine beds, there is plenty of room for everyone. Although the inside is nice and roomy, you will find yourself spending most of your time outside on the large porch, in the beautiful lawn, or out on the boat dock. The water is just a few yards in front of the house with a gradual slope for going swimming. Enjoy the private dock (sometimes shared with owners) where you can jump off the diving board, fish, sunbath or just relax and enjoy the scenery. The Lake House is located on a quiet cove where you are welcome to bring your boat or Jet Ski, with plenty of room to moor on the dock or pull up on shore. We do have neighbors on both sides, but none are permanent residents. The dock also has a sink to clean the fish you catch which may include catfish, bass, crappie and several others. There is also plenty of waterfowl to watch and lots of wildlife around, to include deer, hogs, squirrels, raccoons, armadillos, etc. This is in the country so please expect to see some critters and bugs. We do have a fire pit where you can roast marshmallows or just sit by the fire. A total must while you are here is the beautiful sunset every evening! We do offer an RV spot for an additional fee if your group is too big for the house or if someone just wants to bring their camper. Whether you are here to fish, enjoy water activities, or just want to relax and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful surroundings - this is the place to be!

The smart tv allows streaming and has access to many local broadcast stations. Property is outfitted with an outdoor kennel that measures 5' wide X 10' long X 6' tall.
